気分はお父さん、お母さん
６月から”メダカ” が新しい仲間に加わり、 興味津々の子どもたち。
あかちゃんだったメダカもすっかり大きくなりました。
ある日じっと泳ぐ様子を観察していると、形の違いに気付いたようです。
魚の図鑑を見てみると、メダカの性別は腹ビレの形の違いで見分けることが分かりました。
「あ、こっちがオスで、あっちがメスかな？」
元気に泳ぎ回るメダカに釘付けです。
そして先日、お腹に卵を付けて泳ぐメダカを発見！
子どもたちは、「あ！たまごがある！」と大喜びです。
「まだかなー？もううまれるかな？」
「オスかな？メスかな？」
「たまごってとうめいなんだね」
まるで、我が子の誕生を心待ちにするお父さんお母さんのようです。
子どもたちとあかちゃんが産まれるのを楽しみに待ちたいと思います。

The killifish, which was once a baby, has grown up to be a big fish.
One day, while observing them swimming, they noticed a difference in shape.
A quick look in a fish book revealed that the sex of killifish is determined by the shape of their abdominal fins.
I asked, "Oh, is this one the male and that one the female?"
The killifish swimming around with great energy kept my eyes glued to the fish.
The other day, they found a killifish swimming with eggs on its belly!
The children were like, "Oh! There is an egg! There's an egg!
I wonder if it's ready yet? Will it come out yet?
Is it a male? Is it a female?
"Eggs are so cute, aren't they?"
They are just like mothers and fathers anxiously awaiting the birth of their own children.
We look forward to the birth of our children and their babies.
