The 2-year-old children of the Kaze group love insects!
Some children are afraid of them, but surprisingly, they actively reach out and touch them and observe them.
There is an orange tree planted in the yard. A swallowtail butterfly laid its eggs on the orange leaves, and the children watched the moment. I took them to the wind school and kept them in an insect cage and observed them every day.
The eggs hatch, become larvae, grow bigger and bigger, become pupae, and so on.
Soon they will become butterflies!
They were looking forward to the moment when an adult told them, "It will turn into a butterfly soon!
However, I felt that they were able to understand the importance of taking good care of insects
by watching the adults taking care of them.
I feel that the adults were able to understand how much they cared for the insects.
I hope that the adults were able to understand that even small insects have a life the same as human beings and
that every life is important.
I hope that the children will be able to understand that even though they are small, they have lives just like human beings and that every life is important.
