遊びの積み重ね
子どもたちに大人気のLaQという組み立て玩具があります。年中長児を中心に乗り物や動物などイメージしたものを作り楽しんでいます。
ある日、LaQでロボットを作っていたK君は、別の作品を作りたくなりパーツを崩しながら箱に戻していました。その姿を見ていた年少さんのTちゃんとMちゃんは「てつだおうか？」と声をかけてくれました。2人は、「これはさんかくだね」「きいろはこっちだよ」と話しながらテキパキと仕分けをして行きます。LaQには様々な形と色があり複数の種類のパーツがあります。パーツが小さいので指先で摘む動きも必要になります。乳児期から積み重ねて来た遊びの経験の中で色や形の識別、指先の操作性が身についているのだなと感じた一場面でした。

One day, Mr. K, who was making a robot with LaQ, wanted to make another work and returned it to the box while breaking the parts. The younger T-chan and M-chan who were watching the figure called out, "Are you Tetsuda?" The two will sort out with Tekipaki while talking, "This is Sankakudane" and "Kiiro is here." LaQ comes in a variety of shapes and colors and comes in multiple types of parts. Since the parts are small, you also need to pick them with your fingertips. It was a scene where I felt that I had learned the color and shape identification and the operability of my fingertips in the experience of playing that I had accumulated since infancy.
